Get Free Traffic Hits With These Awesome Tips

Every webmaster wants to have traffic rolling in by the ton. However, many webmasters simply do not have the initiative to obtain that traffic. As a matter of fact, most people want quality traffic handed to them on a silver platter. It would be nice if that could happen, but it rarely ever does. With that being said, instead of trying to get traffic by literally doing nothing, try using some of the tips below.

Tip #1: Trade Your Link! Believe it or not, by just exchanging links with other sites, you can generate swarms of traffic. If your link is on their site and they begin to promote that site, you will start receiving a portion of that traffic (in a round about way). Plus, this also builds a valuable amount of backlinks, which helps with your search engine ranking. Tip #2: Write Articles! Write informative articles about your niche, put your link in them, and submit them to article directories (such as ezinearticles.com).

After a week or two, you should wind up with loads of traffic. Obviously, there are some other tools and techniques that you can use while writing, but that's a whole topic in itself. Tip #3: Give away an Ebook! It doesn't have to be written by you and it doesn't have to be written by a professional (although, it helps). Any Ebook will do just fine (be sure to acquire the rights before you start giving it away though). Put some links in the Ebook that lead to your site and you'll see plenty of free traffic hits bombarding your website. It's free and it has valuable information, so people will flock to it like flies to poop.

Tip #4: Use Forums! Sign up for forums that relate to your niche and start posting. Build a relationship with the members and you will be able to easily convince them that you are an expert in your field. After that, it won't take much to get them to your site or even to buy a product you recommended. But remember, don't spam the forum! Nobody likes a spammer.

Tip #5: Have a Good Site! This is more of a guideline and/or general rule than a tip. If your website is a blatant advertisement with nothing to offer a visitor, then you might not be as successful as you could be. Offer information, offer help, and offer a solution to people's problems. If people like your web site and find it helpful, you will find that traffic will increase all on its own.

Follow the tips above and your website will get pummeled with free traffic hits. The results probably won't show up overnight, which completely normal. However, after a few weeks, you should be getting more traffic then your host can handle, usually.
